Learn Albanian with Egzona started with a simple idea. I wanted to create the kind of Albanian learning materials I had been missing myself.

The idea first came to me in 2018. I was looking for Albanian books that felt more relatable, engaging, and connected to everyday life, but I also found myself missing something very specific. Activity books that made learning Albanian feel fun and natural.

So I decided to create them myself.

Since 2018, I have been developing LAWE with the goal of making Albanian easier to learn, more enjoyable to practise, and more relevant to everyday life.

My background as a trained teacher, combined with a Master's degree in Educational Psychology, has naturally shaped the way I create my materials. I care deeply about how we learn, what motivates us, and how learning can become something we actually enjoy, especially when it comes to children and language.

I believe learning Albanian is about much more than memorising words. It is about seeing them, hearing them, saying them, writing them, using them, and eventually making them part of everyday life.

That is what I want LAWE to help with.

The books are created with repetition, activities, writing, recognition, and familiar words and situations to make learning feel manageable and meaningful. Whether you are learning Albanian yourself, teaching your child, reconnecting with the language, or simply wanting to bring more Albanian into your everyday life, my hope is that LAWE can make the journey a little easier and a lot more enjoyable.

What started as an idea in 2018 has grown into a collection of Albanian learning materials, with many more ideas and resources still to come.
